Professor of Economics and JW McConnell Chair of American Studies
Welcome to my new website. I am a Professor of Economics at Université de Montréal, where I currently hold the J.W. McConnell Family Foundation Chair in American Studies, and a Research Fellow at CIREQ (Centre Interuniversitaire de Recherche en Économie Quantitative). The focus of my research is on the causes and consequences of economic inequality, the interactions between inequality and tax policy, education, and the labor market from a macroeconomic perspective.
